Zoily Mercado is a Project Specialist at the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, where she contributes to various projects and studies concerning representation in the entertainment industry. After graduating from USC with a Communications B.A. she joined the team full-time in 2021. Since then, she has worked on projects including Hispanic/Latinx representation both onscreen and behind the scenes, and other reports on diversity in popular film, TV, and music. She aims to create change by being part of a team that puts an emphasis on what matters and creates opportunity for data driven research to impact creative industries.

Outside of work, Zoily is passionate about her family, traveling, cultural diversity, art, and design.
